About the Author

Nick Agelidis

Nick Agelidis was born and grew up in Australia. He has been a world traveler from the age of 10 when his parents took him on a six-month vacation around the world. He moved to England in his twenties to complete a PhD in engineering and came to the United States in his thirties to work in the automotive industry. In his forties he worked in Holland and France, and then in his fifties he came back to the United States. He currently lives in La Jolla, which is the subject of this book. Nick has always been a keen photographer, and his extensive travels have given him plenty of opportunities to indulge his hobby. However, his recent retirement from a corporate career now allows him to focus his full attention on photography.
