About the Author

Wolf Berger, Ph.D.

Wolf Berger, Ph.D. (Wolfgang H. Berger) is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at UCSD, and a Research Professor in the Geosciences Research Division of Scripps Institution of Oceanography. He holds advanced degrees in geology and oceanography, and taught these subjects (as well as other environmental sciences) at the University of California San Diego from the 1970s. His most recent research is focused on climate history. He is a former board member of the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy.
