Dennis R. Gallegos began his career in archaeology in 1969 working for California State Parks and then worked for the Bureau of Land Management Desert Planning Staff conducting archaeological inventories desert-wide. He has also worked in the private sector and more recently with his own company, Gallegos & Associates, doing surveys, excavations, artifact analysis, report preparation and editing for projects throughout San Diego County and the southern California deserts.
