Theresa Sinicrope Talley
Theresa Sinicrope Talley is a marine ecologist and, since 2012, has been a Coastal Extension Specialist with California Sea Grant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Throughout her career, she has worked to bridge science, education and workforce training, and community by advancing coastal habitat restoration and management, sustainable seafood systems, and community-engaged science. Originally from New England, Theresa has called California home since 1988 and is dedicated to fostering collaboration among scientists, residents, and decision-makers to develop creative, science-based solutions that support a healthy coast, economy, and society. She holds degrees in Ecology from San Diego State University (MSc) and UC Davis (PhD) and currently lives in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego with her family.
