Deborah Small

Deborah Small is an artist and professor in the School of Arts at California State University, San Marcos. Her work focuses on documenting traditional and contemporary indigenous knowledge and uses of native plants in the southern California region, which she does through photography, writing, and an extensive ethnobotany blog at deborahsmall.wordpress.com.
