Dr. Philip Pryde is a Professor Emeritus at San Diego State University, where he taught courses in environmental policy for 32 years. His specialties were water and energy resources, and land use planning. In the community, he has served as Chair of the San Diego County Planning Commission and on the Board of Directors of the County Water Authority. He currently serves on the Board of the San Diego River Park Foundation and the San Diego Audubon Society.
